New Ayrshire ECHO Programmes

The Ayrshire Hospice has recently launched two new ECHO programmes which you can register for now. If you are interested in registering for either programme, click the red button below the descriptions below.

Ayrshire Care Homes ECHO follows on from previous care homes focussed programmes, here we are continuing to aim to strengthen and build practice within local care homes. These sessions allow staff to look at unusual or complex cases and gain insight and learning from subject experts. These sessions are facilitated by the Care Home Professional Support Team

Palliative Care Emergencies ECHO will provide an overview of the signs and symptoms to be aware of, the investigations that would be undertaken and the treatment options available. The programme is aimed at supporting local district nurses in developing their confidence when identifying and managing situations in a timely and sensitive way. These sessions will be facilitated by Steph Thomson, who is a clinical educator at the Ayrshire Hospice.
