This will be an opportunity to share knowledge to improve confidence in diagnosis, treatment and management in respiratory care. Through exploring experiences of complex respiratory care, we hope to strengthen relationships and improve patient care.
ECHO is designed to help practitioners master complexity by looking at anonymised patient case examples which represent a wider learning need and opportunity. For this programme Lorna, Michelle and Mhari will present cases which will inspire a group dialogue and while doing this they will offer a combination of teaching, group mentoring and facilitation to ensure that knowledge grows and future patients can benefit. As sessions progress, participants should feel more comfortable to bring their own cases to the group.
This is our second programme using this delivery format, following a recently successful pilot looking at antibiotic resistance.
This ECHO programme is aimed primarily towards primary and secondary care practitioners such as GPs and nurses.
Any upcoming sessions for this ECHO programme will be given below. Sessions will occur on a monthly basis, dates for the programme will be confirmed soon.
